Our Work

Christ commands us in Matthew 28, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Our response to this command is to create seminaries, which create pastors, which create churches, which create disciples. We currently have 600 students being actively trained, right now, across 7 teaching sites, in 5 African nations.

Our main campus is in Kapchorwa, Uganda, and we also have classes in Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda. In addition to creating seminaries, we seek to continue ministering to and partnering with our students after they graduate through Trinity Biblical Institute Network for Church Planting and Church Growth. In addition to TBI Seminary and Trinity Network, we care for the physical and relational needs of our brothers and sisters in Africa through Trinity Mercy Works.

TBI Seminary

TBI (Trinity Biblical Institute) is the core program of TCWM. This is our brick-and-mortar accredited evangelical seminary in Eastern Uganda, with two more extension sites in Uganda and one more each in Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Burundi. TBI Network for Church Planting and
Church Health

Once our African students finish our theology program, many are ready to go out and plant churches! We provide grants, training, and resources to help make that happen for the kingdom of God. We also provide a network for alumni and associated churches, to help with placement, pulpit-filling, apprenticeships, and continued church health and church growth for established pastors and churches.

Trinity Mercy Works

We delight to care not only for the spiritual needs of Africa but also for physical and relational needs as well. We have a medical clinic that was founded 20 years ago and is still growing today in Kaserem, Eastern Uganda. We also have a radio station called Kapchorwa Trinity Radio, where gospel messages, positive programming, and local news goes out to the Sebei Region of Uganda. We have been involved in a variety of relief projects over the last few years in East Africa as the need has arisen, especially during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
